Summary
Ugly Betty is an award-winning television comedy-drama starring America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams, and Eric Mabius. It premiered on September 28, 2006, on ABC. The series follows the life of the unsophisticated but good-natured Betty Suarez (Ferrera), and her incongruous job at the ultra-chic New York City fashion magazine "Mode." Her constant fish out of water status drives much of the plot of Ugly Betty.
